One day Charles Gardner, 35, sees two teenage boys breaking into his car.

어느날 35세의 Charles Gardner는 두십대 소년이 갑자기 그의 차로 뛰어드는걸 본다.

As they take off, gardner jumps on the car and grabs the luggage rack.

그들은 출발하였을때, 가드너는 차위로 뛰어올랐고 레져용 랙을 웅켜잡았다.

The teenage driver speeds up.  He hits a light pole.

10대는 과속으로 차를 몰았다.  그는 전봇대를 쳤다.

Then he drives through two fences. Gardner hangs on for dear life.

그다음엔 울타리를 뚫고 지나갔다. 가드너는 죽을힘을 다해 꼭 붙잡았다.

The car gets on the highway.

차는 고속도로로 진입했다.  

By this time, more than two dozen police cars are following it.

바로 이때,  20여대의 경찰차가 그 뒤를 따라가고  있었다.

After 20 minutes, the driver slows down.  Police surround the car.

20분후에 운전자는 속도를 낮추었다. 경찰은 그 차를 에워쌌다.

The teens are in big trouble.

그 십대들은 큰 어려움에 쳐했다.

As for Gardner,  he has some cuts,  but he is okay.

가드너로 말 할 것 같으면, 그는 약간 다쳤으나 괜찮았다.

"It's a miracle that he wasn't killed," said police officer Michael Kuemmeth.

 “그를 살해 하지 않은 것이 기적이다.”  경찰관 Michael Kuemmeth는 말했다.
